FIELD: mechanical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: slide bearing has housing and hub provided with the flange and mounted on the shaft. The bearing side of the flange is provided with a disk. The unit provided with self-adjusting shoes is interposed between the housing and disk. The shoes are provided with antifriction facings which engage the disk. The slide bearing is also provided with pressing ring which is provided with ports for antifriction facings and secured to the working side of the unit with the self-adjusting shoes. The antifriction facings are made of inserts and mounted in the ports of the pressing ring for movement. The working side of the antifriction inserts is projected over the face side of the pressing ring. The disk is made of a solid antifriction ring. The cross-section of the antifriction inserts is step-shaped. The steps hold the inserts against removing from the ports of the pressing ring. ^ EFFECT: simplified design. ^ 2 cl, 4 dwg
