SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING/STORING SMELL INFORMATION TO DATABASE IN REAL-TIME USING PDA

PURPOSE: A system for collecting/storing smell information to a database in real-time using a PDA(Personal Digital Assistant) is provided to automatically collect location/time detecting smell by using the GPS(Global Positioning System), and measure a sort and strength of the smell by using a directly sensing method. CONSTITUTION: The smell information collected from portable smell information collectors(10) is stores in the database(20). A control server(30) statistically processes/analyzes the data and transfers an analysis result to the portable smell information collector. The portable smell information collector comprises a portable meteorological equipment for measuring meteorology, the GPS representing the current location/time, and the PDA storing/transferring the measured data to the control server.
