PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device performing gray voltage compensation and its driving method are provided to assure improved image quality by removing dim phenomenon between blocks of a pixel. CONSTITUTION: A pixel area(100) comprises a number of data lines. A timing controller(200) outputs a gray level information signal and an image signal and a driving signal. A source driver(300) generates a gray voltage by receiving the gray level information signal. The source driver further includes the first digital analog conversion unit(310) for converting the gray level information signal and the second digital analog conversion unit(320) for converting the image signal.
