METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY SEARCHING CHANNEL OF RADIO TELEVISION RECEIVER

PURPOSE: A method for automatically searching a channel of a radio television receiver is provided to automatically search and store effective radio channels of various broadcasting bands having different carrier frequencies with a simple operation. CONSTITUTION: Channel tuning is sequentially carried out for an arbitrary broadcasting band among a plurality of broadcasting band to search the plurality of broadcasting bands for an effective radio channel(206,208). Information of the searched effective radio channel is stored as effective radio channel information of the arbitrary broadcasting band(210). When channel searching for the arbitrary broadcasting band is finished, channel searching for the other broadcasting bands is performed to search and store effective radion channels for the broadcasting bands.
