摘要 PURPOSE: A shadow mask support structure is provided to reduce costs, and achieve improved drop and howling characteristics by reducing the thickness of a spring. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises a funnel; a panel coupled with the funnel; an electron gun arranged in the funnel so as to emit electron beams toward a phosphor screen formed on an inner surface of the panel; a deflection yoke for deflecting electron beams; a shadow mask for selecting colors of electron beams; a support frame(120) for supporting the shadow mask; and a spring(130) for fixing the support frame on the inner surface of the panel. The spring includes a welding portion(131) welded onto the support frame; a fixing portion(135) to be coupled with a stud pin of the panel, wherein the fixing portion is formed in parallel with the welding portion; a connection portion(133) formed between a first bent portion(132) and a second bent portion(134) interfacing the welding portion and the fixing portion; and at least one reinforcement bead(137) vertically crossing the first bent portion.
