FIELD: mechanical engineering; vertical gear reducers. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed vertical gear reducer has housing 1, three stages assembled from cylindrical gear wheels 3, 5, 7 which are rigidly connected with shafts mounted rotatably in bearings 9-12 in housing. Lubricating fluid 13 is located in lower part of housing. Third-stage wheel 7 is partially immersed in lubricating fluid. Fitted on shaft of second-stage wheel 5 is washer 15 which rotates together with pinion stem 6 performing axial and angular motion. End faces 16 and 17 of gear wheels 3 and 7 of first and third stages directed towards second-stage wheel 5 are located in one plane. Washer 15 is pressed to end faces of gear wheels 16 and 17. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability due to reliable delivery of lubricant to teeth of wheels of higher stage. ^ 3 dwg
