FIELD: valving. ^ SUBSTANCE: gate valve comprises housing with valving openings arranged along the single axis. The valve is secured to the shaft of the main actuator and is made of two parallel slide valves. An additional actuator is arranged along the axis of the shaft of the main actuator for synchronous movement of the slide valves to the valving openings. The additional actuator is composed of a wedge which receives a device for moving the slide valves, screw, and clutch members for moving the wedge. The main actuator is mounted for permitting moving the gate valve coaxially to the shaft preventing the gates against a contact with the faces of the valve openings. The additional actuator is mounted for permitting further movement of the gates along the axis of the valving openings and pressing them to the faces of the valving openings without friction. ^ EFFECT: enhanced reliability. ^ 3 dwg |
