PURPOSE: A method for culturing a large quantity of adventitious root of saponin-containing plant using natural fruit as a culture medium is provided, thereby producing pollution-free saponin-containing plant all the year round. CONSTITUTION: The method for cultivating a large quantity of adventitious root of saponin-containing plant using natural fruit as a culture medium comprises the steps of: sterilizing the saponin-containing plants, washing them with water and cutting them in the size of 3 to 5 mm; culturing the cuttings of the saponin-containing plants in MS medium under light condition of 3000 to 5000 lux to induce calluses, and subculturing the calluses at intervals of 2 to 4 weeks to grow the calluses; inoculating the calluses into the MS medium to induce the adventitious roots; culturing the induced adventitious roots in a medium of natural fruit juice; and culturing a large quantity of the grown adventitious roots in a bioreactor, wherein the saponin-containing plant is selected from ginseng, wild ginseng, Acanthopanax Senticosus and edible shoots of fatsia; and the natural fruit is selected from citrus, apple, grape, carrot and tomato.
