PURPOSE: A device and a method for controlling computer/Internet use using a controlling program stored in a microcomputer are provided to limit the computer/Internet use by automatically interrupting Internet connection and a keyboard/mouse interface, or terminating an OS(Operating System), if a use frequency/time of the Internet and a game is over a preset frequency/time. CONSTITUTION: A communication connector(3) communicates data between the microcomputer(2) and the computer(7). A switch(6) interrupts or connects a data signal line connecting a data input device(5) such as a keyboard or a mouse with the computer. A computer connector(4) connects the computer and the microcomputer through a control line(14). The microcomputer interrupts or connects data communication between the data input device and the computer by turning on/off the switch.
