PURPOSE: Provided is a disposable article comprising a water-insoluble biodegradable cover, an absorbent core and a water-dispersable external shell, wherein the water-insoluble biodegradable cover is laminated on the absorbent core. CONSTITUTION: The article(10) comprises an absorbent core(30), a water-insoluble biodegradable film(40) and a water-dispersable external shell(50) made of paper, wherein the water-insoluble biodegradable film is laminated on the absorbent core. The article further comprises a water-insoluble biodegradable cover(20). The laminated film is extended beyond the periphery of the absorbent core. Therefore, the article is disposed of by biodecomposition in the sewer or purification system rather than in landfills or by incineration.
