PURPOSE: A permanent anchor is provided to prevent the lowering of tensile strength caused by the tension of a strand, to reinforce bearing capacity and to reinforce a loose permanent anchor. CONSTITUTION: The permanent anchor contains an anchor body(1) enabled to attach with a strand(3) without controlling the length of a strand in advance, a head(4) enabled to be re-tensioned by adding external force after installing primarily, and an insert(22) fitted between a head(4) and a backing plate(23) as long as the tensioned length to heighten bearing capacity. The permanent anchor is fixed by fixing an anchor body(1) with a strand(3) using a bolt(2), etc., forming a screw thread(6) on a head(4) upward and coupling with the screw thread(6) of the head(4) using a hydraulic jack, then tensioning. If a strand(3) or a backing plate(23) becomes loose by the loss of soil or the breaking of a retaining wall, the permanent anchor is tightened by opening a cap(24) of a head(4), coupling a screw thread(6) of the head with a nut of a hydraulic jack, then tensioning and pulling as much as the extended length of the strand(3) and fitting an insert(22).
