PURPOSE: A remote control device having a voice output function is provided to add a TV voice receiving circuit to a remote controller, and to automatically select a designated broadcasting channel, at the same time, while a TV channel is selected, so that a user can listen to a TV sound through an earphone jack protruded on a remote controller. CONSTITUTION: A voice receiving circuit(220) receives a voice signal corresponding to a changed channel, when a channel change signal is inputted. A voice output unit(250) outputs the voice signal inputted from the voice receiving circuit(220). A microcomputer(200) controls such that the channel change signal can be received in a transmitter(110) and the voice receiving circuit(220), and controls volume of the voice signal. A function select button(160) supplies a predetermined signal to the microcomputer(200), so that the channel change signal can be received in the voice receiving circuit(220).
