PURPOSE: A method for forming a pattern in an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to simplify manufacturing process and improve productivity in manufacturing the LCD by directly coating etching solution on a thin layer for forming the pattern using a dispenser. CONSTITUTION: A thin layer(100) for forming a predetermined pattern is coated on a substrate(200). And then, etching solution(500) is coated on a predetermined region of the thin layer using a dispenser(600). Herein, the predetermined region of the thin layer is etched by the etching solution, thereby forming the predetermined pattern. A sort of the etching solution is determined according material composing the thin layer.
