Use of zinc sulfide as a delustering additive in thermoplastic polymer compositions, e.g. polyamide-based compositions for the production of fibers and flock-finish fabrics

The use of zinc sulfide (I) as a delustering additive in thermoplastic polymer compositions involves incorporating (I) in amounts of more than 1.5 wt% based on the total weight of the composition. - Independent claims are also included for: - (1) thermoplastic polymer compositions containing more than 2.5 wt% (I), with a dullness greater than that of similar compositions containing the same amount of titanium dioxide instead of (I); - (2) articles obtained from these compositions; and - (3) highly matt, flock-finish surfaces comprising such articles.
