PURPOSE: A low density nuclear fuel storage rack is provided to reduce defects caused due to short welding parts, and manufacturing costs by reducing time required for a welding process. CONSTITUTION: A low density nuclear fuel storage rack is characterized in that the contact portion between cans(10) in the nuclear fuel storage rack is divided into five sections each having a welding length of 4.5 inches, and the five sections are welded at constant spacing.
