The pushchair comprises a foldable chassis (11) carrying a hammock (12) and having two rear wheels (13) mounted on a spindle (14). There is a front steering assembly (16) suspended at the end of a fork (15). The steering assembly comprises a fixed part solidly connected to the pushchair frame and a movable part which can rotate relative to the fixed part along a first vertical rotational axis. Rotation of the movable part can be locked to secure it with the fixed part in a central position in which the wheel is parallel to the pushchair rolling axis.
