MULTIPLE-VIEW DISPLAY FOR FORMING VIEWING REGIONS BY USING DISPLAY DEVICE SUCH AS LCD AND PARALLAX GENERATOR SUCH AS PARALLAX BARRIER

PURPOSE: A multiple-view display is provided to form viewing regions for showing couples of three-dimensional views by using a display device and a parallax generator. CONSTITUTION: A multiple-view display is used for displaying N number of views, where N is an integer greater than 1. The multiple-view display includes a display device. The display device includes a plurality of composite pixel groups(26,27), a parallax generator, and an image data supply device. Each of the composite pixel groups includes pixels of at least three different colors with at least two of the pixels of the same color. The parallax generator cooperates with the display device to define a plurality of viewing regions. The image data supply device is used for supplying the same image data to the at least two pixels of the same color of the groups.
