BANDWIDTH CONTROL DEVICE AND A METHOD, SPECIALLY RELATED TO DECIDING WHETHER A DATA FRAME IS TRANSMITTED BY USING A RANDOM VARIABLE CREATED ACCORDING TO THE DATA FRAME

PURPOSE: A bandwidth control device and a method are provided to generate a random variable for a data frame to be transmitted, and to create a random variable corresponding to a length variable of the data frame, then to transmit the data frame according to the generated random variables, thereby effectively controlling a bandwidth. CONSTITUTION: A packet buffer(400) temporarily stores a data frame to be transmitted. A timer(410) counts a time slot which decides whether the data frame is transmitted. A random variable generator(420) generates a transmission random variable of the data frame. A bandwidth controller(430) outputs a transmission control signal in accordance with the transmission random variable. A port controller(450) transmits the stored data frame to a corresponding port through an MAC transmitter(440) by the transmission control signal.
