PURPOSE: An electrode substrate of a flat panel display is provided to prevent a conductive layer from being oxidized due to irradiation of UV(UltraViolet) light, reduce resistance of the conductive layer and improve adhesion force with the resist layer by forming a barrier layer to protect the conductive layer. CONSTITUTION: An electrode layer(12) is formed on a substrate(11). A conductive layer(13) is formed on the electrode layer, wherein the conductive layer is formed of silver, silver alloy, aluminum, aluminum alloy, copper, or copper alloy. A barrier layer(14) is formed on the conductive layer, wherein the barrier layer is formed of titanium or titanium alloy. Herein, the substrate is capable of being a glass substrate or a plastic substrate.
