DEVICE FOR DETECTING A DEAD ANGLE OF A VEHICLE BY USING A MOVABLE SENSOR WITH MANY SENSORS IN THE SIDE OF THE VEHICLE

PURPOSE: A dead angle detector of a vehicle is provided to safely drive through the detection of side obstacles during a driving of the vehicle and to prevent the impact from a door opening of a driver or a passenger through the detection of rear obstacles during the stop of the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A control unit(10) controls each system based on information from a speedometer(1), a sensor of an indicator lamp(2) and a door sensor(3). A control unit controls a sensor direction setting unit(20) according to a speed signal from the speedometer. The sensor direction setting unit converts to a side detection mode or to a rear detection mode from the control of the control unit. A first driving unit(30) is driven at the switching of the sensor direction setting unit to the side detection mode. A second driving unit(40) is driven at the switching of the sensor direction setting unit to the rear detection mode. Obstacle detecting units(50) are arranged in the side of a vehicle. The obstacle detecting units detect obstacles in the side and the rear of the vehicle by moving to the side and the rear according to the driving of the first and the second driving units.
