LCD DEVICE FOR IMPROVING APERTURE RATIO AND LIGHT-TRANSMITTING RATIO

PURPOSE: An LCD device is provided to improve an aperture ratio and a light-transmitting ratio by forming gate lines with the same pattern as that of common electrode lines at a region adjacent to the common electrode lines where texture occurs. CONSTITUTION: An LCD device includes a plurality of data lines(410) extended in a first direction and arranged at predetermined intervals in a second direction crossing the first direction, a plurality of gate lines(400) extended in the second direction and arranged at predetermined intervals in the first direction, pixel regions(420) surrounded by two adjacent data and gate lines of the plurality of the data and gate lines, and common electrode lines(430) extended from the pixel regions to the second direction in parallel with the gate lines. The gate lines are linearly spaced apart from the common electrode lines. The gate lines are formed with the same pattern as that of the common lines at peripheral regions of the common lines where texture occurs.
