PURPOSE: A wireless Internet accessing system comprising an access area limiting function and a method thereof are provided to enable users to receive an Internet access service in limited way through a wireless communication network when necessary, thereby supplying a usage based charge service at low price. CONSTITUTION: An authentication server(500) comprises as follows. An authentication DB(510) stores information on a user who can receive an Internet access service through a wireless LAN. An access information DB(520) stores information on a network access control device(200) installed in each area. An authentication processor(530) decides whether the user is entitled to use a network, based on the stored user authentication information of the DB(510) and user authentication information supplied from a user terminal(100). A service decider(540) decides whether the user can access a service, and supplies decided results to the network access control device(200), so that the device(200) can control the Internet access of the terminal(100).
