LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE AND ITS DRIVING METHOD, ESPECIALLY MODULATING SOME PART OF SOURCE DATA TO BE CHANGED

PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display device and its driving method are provided to improve image quality and to reduce capacity of a memory by modulating data. CONSTITUTION: A memory stores only a part of source data corresponding to a part of a screen among source data. A data modulator(52) compares the present source data from an input line with source data from the memory, and modulates the present source data according to the comparison result. The partial source data are data which are to be displayed on a top area of the screen or on a bottom area of the screen.
