PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the setting to a scheduled time or the adjustment of the time. SOLUTION: In this alarm clock, an alarm time setting knob and guide needle 6, a time adjusting knob 7, and an alarm starting knob 8 are arranged on the front surface of a body so that a user can surely operate them while visually confirming the movement of his/her fingers. The alarm time setting knob and guide needle 6 is formed by integrating an alarm time setting knob and a guide needle in a conventional alarm clock. It is arranged on the outside front of a transparent cover 3 for covering and protecting a dial plate 2 concentrically with an hour hand 5 and a minute hand 4. According to this, the scheduled time can be easily set, and the hour hand 5 or the minute hand 4 can be prevented from being touched by the fingers by mistake when the alarm time setting knob and guide needle 6 is operated.
