摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing stimulable phosphors which are free from the deterioration in their performance due to their moisture absorption and can be used in a good condition for a long period, and to provide a radiation image conversion panel which is excellent in image properties and a method for manufacturing the panel. SOLUTION: The radiation image conversion panel which has a phosphor layer made by dispersing the stimulable phosphors in a bonding agent is characterized in that their aspect ratio is between 1 and 5 inclusive and they are contained as particles of stimulable phosphors whose surfaces are treated with a compound containing fluorine in the layer.
