PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent wear of a casing cover caused by generation of a swirl flow in a main plate side chamber in a sewage pump. SOLUTION: A tip face of a main plate 24b of an impeller 24 facing a back plate 28 is perpendicular to a main shaft 21. The back plate 28 has a uniform thickness and an annular shape of which a mounting face 28a to the casing cover 27 and a face 28b facing the main plate tip of the impeller 24 are perpendicular to the main shaft 21. An annular gap S2 perpendicular to the main shaft 21 is formed between a face 24f facing the back plate 28 of the main plate 24b of the impeller 24 and the face 28b facing the main plate tip of the back plate 28.
