IMPELLER OF SUBMERGED PUMP

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide at a low cost an impeller for a submerged pump which prevents axial deflections by attenuating hydrodynamic unbalance in a radial direction during rotation only by minor change to an existing impeller without complication and upsizing of a structure and an increase in parts count. SOLUTION: In an impeller 4 for a submerged pump, an annular shroud 6 is provided to the upper edge of an impeller plate 5 bent in an arch shape so as to be gradually increased in diameter from a periphery of an intake port 2 to an outer peripheral direction. A balancing hole 7 communicating from the outside of the impeller plate 5 to the inside is drilled in the impeller plate 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
