PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily know replacing or replenishing timing of a solid cleaning agent by stabilizing eluting quantity in a device for making the solid cleaning agent eluting in water in a water storage tank. SOLUTION: This cleaning agent eluting device 1A is arranged in the water reservoir 8 of a flush toilet; to make the solid cleaning agent 3 elute in the water in the water storage tank 8; and is composed of a cylindrical vessel 2 having a bottom part 7 composed of a water permeable material, the solid cleaning agent 3 stored in the cylindrical vessel 2, a weight 4 placed on the solid cleaning agent 3 in the cylindrical vessel 2, a string-like member 6 having one end connected to the weight 4, and having the other end hanging down outside the water storage tank 8, when the cleaning agent eluting device 1A is arranged in the water reservoir 8, and a mark M for indicating residual quantity of the solid cleaning agent 3 in response to the hanging-down length of the stringy member 6.
