PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a halogen-free flame-retardant napped artificial leather having excellent flame retardancy, light resistance and abrasion resistance, and composed of a synthetic fiber. SOLUTION: The artificial leather is obtained by imparting a flame-retardant composition comprising at least one kind of phosphoric acid compound selected from guanidine phosphate, ammonium polyphosphate, melanin polyphosphate and phosphoric acid amide, at least one kind of a compound selected from pentaerythritol, dipentaerythritol, melanin, dicyandiamide, starches, celluloses and sorbitol, and a binder resin to one surface of a fabric comprising a woven fabric, a knitted fabric or a nonwoven fabric including a synthetic fiber having≤1 dtex single fiber size, and a macromolecular elastomer.
