<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which can be stably used even when the user of the apparatus is in a wheelchair, etc., or when the apparatus is used in a gravity-free space and to facilitate the processing of a removed screw in repair, etc. <P>SOLUTION: Handles are provided in the image forming apparatus, which are installed in at least one or more locations in the vicinity of an operating part, in the vicinity of an opening/closing member such as a door or in the vicinity of a ridgeline part in the exterior of the apparatus and the user of the apparatus can support his or her body with the handles. Here, at least a part of the handle is constituted of a material provided with magnetic force.
