摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small type optical pickup capable of realizing compatibility among various kinds of optical disks with a simple configuration, and stably detecting a signal even when using a polarizing detection optical system. <P>SOLUTION: On a Si sub-mount 45-4, a GaN blue semiconductor laser chip 45, an AlGaInP red semiconductor laser chip 46, and an AlGaAs near-infrared semiconductor laser chip 47 are mounted. The blue semiconductor laser chip 45 (wavelength of 405 nm) of a minimum wavelength is mounted in the center, and the red semiconductor laser chip 46 (wavelength of 650 nm) and the near-infrared semiconductor laser chip 47(wavelength of 790) are mounted on both sides of the blue semiconductor laser chip 45. After the light made to exit from each laser chips 45 to 47 is reflected by an etched mirror 45-3 and the light path is changed in the direction, the light is collimated through a collimator lens of a 25 mm focal length. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
