PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shield tunnel structure, for necessarily minimally narrowing an occupying width, while restraining local generating stress. SOLUTION: This shield tunnel structure is constructed so as to form one composite cross-sectional shape 10, by continuously connecting bilaterally symmetrical two tunnel cross-sectional parts 10a and 10b in the horizontal direction. The two tunnel cross-sectional parts 10a and 10b are respectively formed so that the whole forms one vertical elliptic cross-sectional part, by continuously connecting a circular arc-shaped cross-sectional part above and below a rectangular cross-sectional part. This vertical elliptic cross-sectional part forms one composite cross-sectional shape 10, by being continuously connected in a bifoliate shape of being juxtaposed by two in the horizontal direction.
