PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner enabling an increase in efficiency of drain water evaporation treatment by spattering drain water to only an outdoor heat exchanger and also an increase in heat exchange efficiency of the outdoor heat exchanger. SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, the inside of an air conditioner body 1 is divided into an indoor unit part 2 and an outdoor unit part 3. An indoor heat exchanger 4 and an indoor blower 5 are disposed in the indoor unit part, an outdoor heat exchanger 13, an outdoor blower 12, and a compressor 10 are disposed in the outdoor unit part, and a drain pan 7 leading drain water generated by the indoor heat exchanger to the lower part of the outdoor heat exchanger is installed in an area starting at the indoor unit part to the outdoor unit part. The air conditioner comprises a scraping up member 14 which scrapes up the drain water led to the lower part of the outdoor heat exchanger and spatters the drain water over the outdoor heat exchanger to evaporate by the outdoor heat exchanger.
