PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding device with excellent portability capable of grinding an end face of a flange at an end part of a pipe body with high accuracy. SOLUTION: This grinding device 1 has a distal end part 3 inserted into the pipe body 50 to expand and contract in a radial direction. The device 1 is provided with a shaft body 4 fixed to the pipe body 50 by expanding the distal end part 3 to be brought into pressure contact with an inner peripheral surface of the pipe body 50, and gear 6 and grinding disk 7 integrally and axially rotating, while being energized by a compression coil spring 9 toward the end face 51a of the flange via a bearing sleeve 5 in relation to the shaft body 4. A grinding part 7b formed on an end face 7a of the grinding disk 7 axially rotates, while being brought into pressure contact with the end face 51a of the flange by energizing force of the compression coil spring 9.
