METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SUPPLYING SLURRY-LIKE FINE POWDER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fine powder supplying method and apparatus capable of stably supplying fine powder to a thermal spraying flame to be used at the time of obtaining a high-density film excellent in various characteristics by an HVOF (high velocity oxygen fuel) thermal spraying.

SOLUTION: The slurry-like fine powder supplying apparatus equipped with a slurry feed control section 10, a carrier gas control section 20 and a powder port 30 is equipped with a mixer 40 which is installed just before the powder port 30, mixes the slurry-like fine powder fed by the slurry feed control section 10 and the carrier gas fed from the carrier gas control section 20 and atomizes the mixture. The powder port 30 ejects the slurry-like fine powder atomized by the mixer 40 in a mist form.
