<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die casting machine having variable gates capable of reducing inclusion of gas or air in a flow-in step of molten metal. <P>SOLUTION: A runner 7 is formed between a sleeve 2 to guide molten metal and a cavity 4 to form a product part, and the runner 7 and the cavity 4 are connected to each other via a plurality of gates 8. A detection means 11 for detecting molten metal in the cavity 4 is included, an opening/closing means 9 for the gates 8 to be operated by the detection means 11 are disposed in a part of or the whole of the gates 8, and the gates 8 are successively opened from the gate closer to the sleeve 2 side when filling molten metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
