<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a generating set which can continue power generation without stopping a device even in the case that the generating set falls in overload due to an increase in driving force contributing to the power generation of the generating set, and also can protect the device. <P>SOLUTION: This generating set is equipped with a generator 2 which generates power by the driving force contributing to power generation, and a generation controller 1 which controls the amount of power generation depending upon whether the amount of regeneration is large or small. The power generation controller 1 has a current detecting means 12 which detects the value of a current outputted from the controller 1 to the generator 2, a means 5 which decides the upper limit value of the current that it can output to the generator 2 at maximum, a comparison means which compares the current detection value from the current detecting means 12 with the upper limit value, and a revolution command generating means 10 which generates the revolution command value of the generator geared to the comparison results. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
