PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a polycarbonate resin extrusion foam body which can suppress the occurrence of the pleat-like corrugation during extrusion foaming without using only normal pentane as a foaming agent. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the polycarbonate resin extrusion foam body comprises an extrusion foaming method comprising the steps of supplying the polycarbonate resin and an inorganic foam regulator to an extruder, heating and kneading them to form a molten-kneaded product, force-feeding a physical foaming agent into the extruder to obtain a foamable molten-kneaded product and extruding the kneaded product from a die mounted to the tip of the extruder to a low-pressure region. The inorganic foam regulator is added at a ratio of 0.02-2 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the polycarbonate resin. The physical foaming agent includes 10-100 mol% of isobutane.
