PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vessel for cell observation capable of efficiently collecting to-be-observed cells in high density and in a moderately distributed condition. SOLUTION: The vessel, into which a culture fluid 3 containing cells 4 are to be injected for their observation, includes a buffer 11 provided in a chip 1, a flow path 12 extending from the buffer 11 and formed shallower than the buffer 11, and an inlet 13 via which the culture fluid containing the cells is to be injected into the buffer 11 and the flow path 12. A glass plate 2 is attached to the chip 1 so as to cover both of the buffer 11 and the flow path 12. By revolving the vessel, the cells 4 are moved by centrifugal force. The cells 4 are stopped in the vicinity of a stopper 14, collected in high density, and then observed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
