PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal mission, formation of dark spots or the like due to the occurrence of a partial short circuit or a leakage current between electrodes without forming locally unformed film portions in laminated layers when an organic EL element is formed by laminating a plurality of organic material layers, and to ensure sound brightness characteristics of the organic EL element by enabling the electric charge to move properly in interfaces between the laminated organic material layers. SOLUTION: After a first electrode 2 is formed on a supporting substrate 1, the organic material layers 3 are laminated on the first electrode 2, and a second electrode 4 is formed on the organic material layers 3. Among the organic material layers 3, two or more organic material layers 3A, 3B having the interfaces 3A<SB>1</SB>, 3A<SB>2</SB>, 3B<SB>1</SB>and 3B<SB>2</SB>in which electrons or holes move are formed of the layers which are heated at≥the glass transition point and≤the melting point of a material constituting the organic material layers 3A, 3B.
