PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic processing machine in which the proper time for replacement or cleaning of a filter of a processing tank can easily be judged without requiring a sensing means such as a flow meter or work following a work procedure in abnormality of temperature. SOLUTION: In the automatic processing machine for a silver halide photographic sensitive material, a processing tank has a heating means to heat a processing solution, a temperature sensing means to sense the temperature of the processing solution, a processing solution circulating means to circulate and stir the processing solution, and a filter for removing foreign substances in the processing solution which is circulated and stirred, and also has a means to display proper time for replacement or cleaning of the filter when the fact that a fluctuation band of temperature of the processing solution is a prescribed value or above is detected by temperature sensing at the time of controlling the temperature of the processing solution by ON/OFF of the heating means.
