摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved transmission device capable of enhancing the operating easiness of a shift lever while an increase in costs and/or weight are suppressed. SOLUTION: The toothed part 127a of a coupling sleeve 127 and the coupling teeth 68c of a gear part 68a meshing with the toothed part 127a are furnished with tapered portions 127d and 68d facing each other, and a working shaft 67 is equipped with a hole part 67f, a ball 142 installed in the hole part 67f in such a way as capable of emerging and retracting, a columnar member 143 protruding from the hole part 67f to be engaged with the inner surface of an input side gear 126, and a spring 141 interposed between the ball 142 and the columnar member 143, wherein the input side gear 126 is provided at its inner surface with a first groove 126d to admit intrusion of the ball 142 and a second groove 126e to enable the columnar member 143 to move for a certain angle in the rotating direction of the working shaft 67. In the shifting operation, the toothed part of the coupling sleeve can be moved in the circumferential direction and meshed with the coupling teeth of the gear part easily. Compared with a conventional arrangement, an increase in the number of component parts can be suppressed and the cost-increase and increase in the weight can be suppressed.
