PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing apparatus for a spinning tub, capable of effectively washing the spinning tub of an automatic washing machine within a short time. SOLUTION: The washing apparatus for the spinning tub is composed of a scatter prevention vessel (1), a holding apparatus (2) of the spinning tub for holding the tub to be possible to rotate, a driving apparatus (3) for rotating a holding part of the spinning tub of the holding apparatus (2), a jet nozzle (4) for jetting a washing liquid to the spinning tub and washing it, a nozzle moving apparatus (5) for moving the jet nozzle (4), and a feeding apparatus of the washing liquid for feeding the washing liquid to the jet nozzle (4). The jet nozzle (4) can change a jetting direction toward a bottom part of the spinning tub when the nozzle is moved to a bottom side of the tub held. The nozzle moving apparatus (5) has an introduction member (50) for introducing the jetting nozzle (4) moving and a ball screw (51) arranged along the introduction member (50). The jet nozzle (4) is fixed at a nut member side of the ball screw (51) and can reciprocally move along a screw shaft member.The screw shaft member is always covered with a cover member (55, 55a).
