PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new micro channel structure capable of controlling the stream of a solid sample by making the cross-sectional area of a minute flow passage variable. SOLUTION: A microchip is constituted so that the minute flow passage through which the solid sample is circulated is formed in the abutted part of substrates opposed to each other. Such a valve mechanism is arranged in the microchip that the cross-sectional area of the minute flow passage is made variable by a sliding valve element so that the solid sample can be dammed in the minute flow passage by the valve mechanism.
