A METHOD FOR PROVIDING NAVIGATION SERVICE BY USING LOCATION OF A MOBILE TERMINAL AND A SYSTEM THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method for providing navigation service by using the location of a mobile terminal and a system thereof. The method comprises the steps of (1) detecting positioning information of a user's first terminal; (2) receiving the above information as departure information; (3) receiving prescribed destination information; (4) outputting prescribed route information based on the above departure and destination information; (5) providing the above output information with the above user's first terminal; (6) estimating whether a global positioning system (GPS) can be received from the above user's second terminal; (7) correcting the above route information based on the above user's positioning information which is outputted through the above GPS signal if it is possible to receive a GPS signal; and (8) providing the above corrected route information to the above first terminal.
