<p>The invention provides processes for the production of disinfecting deodorizers which are easy of custody, handling and replenishment and can safely and easily generate chlorine dioxide and hypochlorous acid to exert potent oxidizing power; and systems of disinfecting and deodorizing with them. The invention relates to (1) a disinfecting deodorizer characterized by being produced by adding a bicarbonate salt to a composition consisting of stabilized crystalline chlorine dioxide hydrate and chloroisocyanuric acid and granulating or tableting the obtained mixture, (2) a disinfecting deodorizer characterized by being produced by adding an organic acid to the disinfecting deodorizer (1) and granulating or tableting the obtained mixture, preferably (3) a disinfecting deodorizer characterized by being produced by adding water to the disinfecting deodorizer (1) or (2), and (4) a disinfecting deodorizer produced by adding water to a granulated or tableted disinfecting deodorizer comprising 2 to 5 parts of stabilized crystalline chlorine dioxide hydrate, 90 to 97.5 parts of chloroisocyanuric acid, 0.5 to 5 parts of sodium hydrogen- carbonate, and 0.1 to 0.5 part of an organic acid.</p> |
