PURPOSE: A wireless navigation system using a map display method and its method are provided to prevent path deviation of a vehicle and reduce data size by downloading vector data corresponding a map with path guide data. CONSTITUTION: A navigation terminal detects the present position, speed and traveling direction of a vehicle, and transmits present position and destination information of the vehicle via mobile communication network. And a navigation information center(30) receives the present position and destination information from the navigation terminal and then generates path guide data from the present position to the destination and then transmits it to the navigation terminal. A map data generation part(306) stores map data as to the surrounding of a node corresponding to a complex position. And a path guide data generation part(304) generates path guide data according to the present position and destination information, and updates the path guide data so that a map image as to the corresponding node is included when there is a node designated as a complex position in the node included in the generated path guide data.
