<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio processing device which is capable of effectively restraining a signal that causes noise from being fed to an audio processing unit. <P>SOLUTION: When a control button corresponding to audio processing units 22_1 to 22_m and a composite unit 23 where boards BD1 to BDm, and BDs are not mounted at interfaces IF1 to IFs is pressed, a monitoring unit 24 detects that the LSB value of an inputted L audio signal is not coincident with that of an inputted R audio signal, and automatically stops the audio processing of the inputted audio signal.
