<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the continuity of input signal values when the continuous input signal values are converted, in converting an input signal value relying on an input color reproduction area into an output signal value relying on an output color reproduction area. <P>SOLUTION: A color image processor for converting an input signal value into an output signal value comprises an attribute judging means 1 for judging attributes of the input signal value in a color space, a specific input signal value converting means 2 for replacing a specific input signal value judged as the specific attributes by an output signal value corresponding to this, and non-specific input signal value conversion means 3, 5 for converting a non-specific input signal value other than the input signal value judged as the specific attributes into the output signal value on the basis of a transformation rule defined for the non-specific input signal value.
