<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet monitoring performance even if the number of sections to be monitored associated with wavelengths to be monitored increases by waiting for stable output of all analog switch sections after switching the analog switch sections of a plurality of the sections to be monitored. <P>SOLUTION: A monitoring section firstly first sends a changeover instruction signal for selecting one of monitoring elements to which each of the analog switche sections corresponds, to the plurality of the sections to be monitored, in a predetermined monitoring period. Next, after waiting for a predetermined time until the output of the monitoring data from the monitoring element obtained from the switched analog switch section, the monitoring section sends a transfer instruction signal to each of the monitored sections, and successively obtains each of monitoring data outputted from each of the analog switch sections. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
